Week7_Week8

Dear all,

Here's my message for Weeks 7 and 8.

I mentioned in the video the stories I listened to at

Digital_Storytelling

I also said that though I think Voicethread is one of the best tools for many educational purposes, one place that you might find tons of interesting tools to use in our Final Project is Alan Levine's Story Tools wiki page.

Note: by mistake, on the video I talked about weeks 6 and 7, but, in fact, what I said was related to weeks 7 and 8. Sorry! I still can't believe it we've gotten so far!

Carla,
Is there any problem with this video? Or is it my computer? It stops every one or two seconds so I can' hardly understand what you're saying. I'll try to again tomorow.

Cecilia,

I'll ask for feedback from other participants. If they have problems listening to it, I could try to send you just the audio, which is less demanding in terms of bandwidth. I'll get back to you soon.

Your video was a model for preparing students to implement what you've presented in this course, and, what's more, to do so in their own ways on topics that are meaningful and used in settings that are real. Also, your perpetual JINGA FORCE transmits both energy and a "can-do" attitude!

Thanks Carla for your explanation and the way you give us the instructions. In fact, you've always done the best to let us comfortable and confident about our steps on the tech world.
My pleasure! The video is great!

Yes, Carla
We've finally crossed the digital threshold. It was a wonderful experience, life-changing all the way. I sense the real journey is just about to begin though. Thanks for your positive support all the way!

Guys, thanks for letting me know that the video worked for you.

@Cleverson I'm glad to hear that I made you feel more comfortable even when the tasks were not the simplest ones!

@Marie Just great to have you around. We're so close, aren't we?

@Dennis thanks for being here, for the support. You're always so reassuring! What would I do without you????

@Maria Claudia I loved "We've finally crossed the digital threshold", "I sense the real journey is just about to begin". It's so true! Nowadays, it seems that everyday, when I wake up is a new journey. I never know where I will end up or what I will learn. Just so much fun with lots of connections taking place. One thing that I'd love to see happening here is that the connections we started here keep strong in the online spaces we are together. You, especially, has surfaced in such a positive, powerful way in this course. At first, shyly, but then with a strong, firm voice around!

Hi Carla, I couldn't watch the message either... Can you send just the audio as you mentioned?

Thanks :)

@Kelly That's neat that your parents could meet me even at a distance!

@Dani Everybody could watch the video so far, even Cecilia who was having problems initially. Could you try to watch it on another computer? If you can't I'll try to capture my voice and save it to send it to you. Let me know.

This idea of being connected despite the distance is great .
